How’s that for alliteration? So, it’s October. That means the leaves are changing. The weather is getting cooler. And I’m sitting next to a 5.6 pound bag of candy I bought at Costco “for the trick-or-treaters.” (I may or may not have an Almond Joy in my mouth as I type this.)
Well, I love October. For all of the above reasons, but mostly because it marks the beginning the season where you can basically wrap yourself in a blanket and call it fashion. Not only are poncho/capelet/
Snuggies/wraps comfortable, they also look pretty hip. AND they’re fun to knit! (Two cheers for patters with no sleeve seams!)

I’m leaning towards number 3 because it’s classic and will be pretty speedy to whip up. Plus, doesn’t it just look like a big warm yarn hug?
