Hi! I really love creating things—sweaters, furniture, quilts, stories, gluten free pancakes, slippers, forts, t-shirts, videos, dresses, web sites, book clubs, pictures, soups, and often in the process of all this, messes. I like to make new friends too.

You can send me a note at: jess (at) makeanddocrew (dot) com. I’d love to hear from you!

Hiyah! You should post a tutorial for how you made the bridesmaid’s bags for your wedding!! They were gorgeous, and I’d love to whip up a few myself.

Oh, you mean because you never got yours? Ha ha. Because I had completely lost my sense of time and place and alphabet at that point in the wedding process. Here’s where I got the idea. I’m not saying you should just make your own, but if you did, I wouldn’t be insulted… 🙂

      Hey Stella,
I found it on Ravelry. Are you a member? If not, it’s totally worth creating a login so you can access the pattern (because you’ll also find about 12,000 other projects you want to knit!) You can download it here. It’s an awesome, quick project.

Hi Jess: I was at the tutorial for felted sweater mittens, and I was unable to download the pattern for the mittens. Could you please e-mail it to me and also the instructions! I would so appreciate it. Thanks, Nancy T. Melotte

Thanks so much for the 0-3 month baby must have list. I do not have children, but some great gift ideas and the white noise app is absolutely fabulous, now I can take it with me everywhere!!! Love your posts.

Have you ever tried a crochet flip flop shoe for men? I’ve been looking for a Tom’s style pattern and I love the way you used flip flops on these. Enjoy your work!

    Hi Jess,

I need some help. I’m working on my 3rd Habitat Cardigan and am nearly finished with the first section (Rectangle body). I’m making a L/XL. At first my proportions measured correctly, but now that I’m almost finished I’ve discovered I’m about 4 inches short on the width. So instead of the rectangle being 43×26 it’s 39×26. I’m trying to figure out a way to add a 2” panel on each end (?) or some other fix. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
