SKIRT
Notes:
• Skirt is worked in turned rounds. See charts at end of pattern PDF for additional visual guidance.
• To create a shorter dress or top, work fewer repeats of Rounds 4-7, taking care to end with either a Round 5 or 7.
• To help stay on track, PM in first st of each round and move it up as rounds progress. The ending of some rounds will overlap the beginning of the round slightly.
• Skirt will lengthen considerably once blocked, so consider lightly steam blocking it when you’ve completed three quarters of the total rounds to see if you’d like to adjust the length. (Do not touch iron or steamer to dress while blocking.)
• V-Loop = (sc, ch 3, sc) in Round 2 or (sc, ch 4, sc) in all other rounds. When working into the V-Loop, work into the ch-sp.
With RS of Bodice facing, attach yarn in either side seam at bottom edge.
Round 1 (RS): Ch 1, sc in underside of each ch or fdc around Bodice bottom skipping 2 sts at each seam that were lost to seaming, do not work a st into the seam, sl st to first sc from beginning of round to join; turn. [94 (106, 114, 122, 130, 138, 146, 150) sc]

Rep Rounds 4-7 four (six, seven, eight, nine, ten, ten, ten, eleven) times. You may find it easier to count the shells instead of the total number of rounds. Once complete, your skirt will have 11 (15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 23, 25) visual rounds of shells. If extra length is desired, continue repeating Rounds 4-7, taking care to end with a Row 5 or 7.
